PT Indo CafCo is currently seeking a results-oriented individual to fill the following positions based in Medan, North Sumatra - Indonesia:

Senior Agronomist
Medan (Sumatera Utara)

Responsibilities:

• Our team of agronomist’s works with farmer groups and suppliers in the Lake Toba area.Their main tasks are the training of farmer groups in GAPs (Good Agricultural Practices), improving quality and productivity, as well as supporting them to meet the requirements of social and environmental certification schemes.

Requirements:

• Female or male
• Willing to be based in Lake Toba area
• Knowledge about coffee production required
• Experiences 5-10 years in agronomy, sustainability and certification schemes is a must
• Ability to write a training manual
• EducationMinimum D3 all themajors
• Ability to do the ground work to write a proposal
• Ability to set up or establish a network
• Frequent travel to an area and over see recruitment of farmers, of Field Officers and ability to plan out a network is required
• Good team player, able to communicate well with farmers, field officers,managements and customers.
• Good proficiency in English a plus
• Very well organized and absolutely reliable
